🌟 ISTD Street Dance Qualifier 🌟 What an incredible day! 💥 Every single dancer absolutely smashed it. The energy, team spirit and support from everyone at GADA was just unreal. For so many of our dancers, this was your first ever competition and you all shone so brightly! ✨ We had some amazing achievements across the board: 🏅 Solos – 3x 1sts, 1x 2nd, 1x 3rd and 1x 5th, all qualifying for Nationals! 🖤 👯‍♀️ Big & Little – 1st place out of 50+ Couples! 💥 Crew – 2nd place in U16s after just four lessons together! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent & Child – 2nd and 3rd place. I was so impressed with our parents (Donna, Natalie & Jo) for getting up there and absolutely smashing it! 🌟 💫 Quads – 1x 1st, 1x 2nd, 2x 3rds and 1x 4th. This was my favourite to watch, smashing the choreo and bringing the sass! ✨ Pairs – 1x 2nd, 2x 4th and 1x 5th , ending the day with some fab results and brilliant teamwork! 👏 A huge special well done to our first-time competitors Lyra, Esme, Monroe, Zhana, Lucy, Ava, Hallie, Sofia, Myla, Mirae and Evie. You were all amazing. Your confidence, smiles and energy lit up the competition floor and you should be so proud of yourselves. 🌟 And a massive well done to all my new dance parents too. I know there were lots of nerves around your little dancers’ first competition, but you all smashed it. The support, enthusiasm and fantastic energy from you throughout the day made such a difference. 🫶 Finally to every single dancer; the way you performed, supported one another and owned that competition floor made my heart burst with pride. ✨ GADA’s First Ever Grand Finals! ✨ Yesterday was a truly special milestone — our very first time attending the ISTD Grand Finals! We took just five students and came away with some great results but more importantly, we created memories that will last a lifetime. From new traditions, bonding, TikToks, endless laughter, and so much positive energy… it’s what GADA is all about. 🌟 Set Dance A huge shoutout to Skye, this was only her second ever competition. Qualifying at her first comp in June was already an incredible achievement, and yesterday she stepped onto that floor with a big smile, so much grace, and held her own like a star. It may not have been your day, but it’s only the beginning… my little dark horse 🐎✨ So proud of you! Next up was Eloise, returning to dance after a break and juggling uni life to get back into our adult class. You looked technically brilliant and danced your way to the Semi Finals — such an amazing comeback and a reminder of your love for disco. I’m so proud of you! And then Shannon — only her second competition and she danced all the way to the Grand Final, finishing 7th place! To balance work, life, motherhood and still shine on that floor is simply incredible. You looked beautiful out there, and I couldn’t be prouder. 💃🏼 💥 Rock and Roll Both sister pairs absolutely smashed it! 👯 Maggie & Darcy — These two came back strong, placing 3rd in the U12 PB. You danced with such calm, precision and pure joy, a truly deserved podium finish! You kept your cool, trusted your hard work, and showed everyone just how much you love to dance 🥉 Proud of you both! 👯 Shannon & Eloise — VICE CHAMPIONS O21 Rock and Roll category! Shannon has only been learning Rock and Roll for 5 months, and with Eloise guiding her, they gave the most gorgeous, confident performance. Seeing two sisters shine together like that was so special — a memory you’ll cherish forever. 🫶 🎉 Congratulations to every school and dancer who qualified and competed, what an achievement for everyone! Thank you to those who came over to say hello — we love to see you. This is just the beginning for GADA, next season, we’ll be back with a bang as our new beginners join us!✨
